Cant rails from Suffolk Farm Fencing

These can be used in conjunction with our fence posts and feather edge to build a close boarded fence.

You can use two, three or four rails per section depending on the height.

Thanks to pressure treating our Cant rails will have a long life . They are available in 3m lengths. One side cut at an angle to allow the rain to run off and so protecting the rail and the attached feather edge.

Close board fencing is very popular for garden use, it is firstly straight forward to put up and it produces a barrier that is not only attractive but aids security. You should consult local planning rules and property covenants before installing a new fence.

When you are buying these rails don’t forget our range of screws and nails which can be used to fix them to the posts and the feather edge to them.

If required the rails can be cut to size .

It is recommended that wood Gravel Boards are used as a protective barrier between the ground and your feather edge boards when building the fence. By preventing direct contact with damp or wet earth, moisture damage can be avoided. Gravel boards are also versatile and pressure treated for external use, ideal for fencing projects.
