Description

We stock a range of Post Supports for wood posts.

Met Posts, for bolting down, driving in, concreting in and repair spikes, all to fit wooden posts into.

These products are a useful way of installing wooden posts instead of concreting the post directly into the ground. This significantly increases the life of the post.

They come in various types:

Drive in: Driven into the ground the post is kept out of the soil. This is comparatively less work without the need of digging a hole and concreting it in

Concrete in: With these just the support is concreted in. Whilst there is some digging involved it is less deep as the support is designed to fix into the concrete better than a wooden post.

Bolt down: This can be useful if you wish to fix a post where for example there is existing concrete. The support is installed by rawl bolting down as a result avoiding the need to break up the path etc.

Repair spikes: These are installed by hammering in the spike beside a broken off wooden post.? This provides a firm fixing for a replacement post with minimal work.
